finding grace in the journey
Dr. Jackie Miller, PsyD.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Pennsylvania and PsyPact

Welcome

My name is Dr. Jackie Miller and I am a Licensed Clinical Pediatric Psychologist specializing in chronic medical conditions, anxiety, and depression
Treating ages 7-20 (ages 5+ for constipation management).
Pediatric psychology focuses on medically-based therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults.
Evidence-based interventions include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.
Patients learn skills to manage mental and physical health symptoms, follow medical advice, prepare for procedures and testing (i.e. bloodwork, imaging, surgery), develop age-appropriate participation in their care, and continue to participate in the parts of life that bring them joy.
Therapy helps patients shift from being passengers to being drivers of their own health journey.
Services are available virtually and
in-person in Unionville, Pennsylvania.
Accepting BCBS (Highmark, Anthem, & Federal, Horizon), HSA/FSA, Out-Of-Network Benefits,
and Private Pay.
*Out of Network with Independence / Personal Choice
Pain may be inevitable at times, but suffering is optional.
I help to reduce suffering by empowering patients to continue participating in the valued activities that give their life meaning while coping with medical and mental health symptoms.
I am a firm believer in treating each individual as a whole person, not individual buckets of symptoms. We will work together to spport your physical, mental, and social functioning.

Compassionate and collaborative care to help you find peace amongst the waves.
Learn to have grace for your journey along the way.
Scheduling
Dr. Miller understands that families have busy schedules and strives to minimize disruptions to school attendance. However, flexibility may be necessary to ensure your child receives the care they need. Dr. Miller will make every effort to avoid children repeatedly missing the same class period and will provide a doctor's note for any visits during school hours. It is also often that case that therapy is a priority in order for children to fully engage in school.
After the intake, self-scheduling is available through the Therapy Appointment patient portal. Dr. Miller will review the frequency of appointments with you during your follow-up visits.
***Due to high demand, Dr. Miller asks that if you have an after-school appointment (3:00, 4:00 or 5:00) to please commit to that time or provide at least one week’s notice for cancellation, so that the slot may be offered to another family who is waiting for care.
